The American fire service is seeking more innovation than ever before, with new products and services being adapted by fire departments daily.
The 2026 Firehouse Innovation Awards aims to recognize the most groundbreaking solutions, products and services that enhance the way fire service agencies provide critical services to their communities.
"We are thrilled to build on the excitement of last year's rollout of the Firehouse Innovation Awards and present a new program to highlight these game-changing products," said Firehouse Editor-in-Chief Peter Matthews. "Never before have so many innovative products been available to the fire service, and our ability to showcase them in the October issue of Firehouse allows us to provide our readers with a look into the solutions that can help keep firefighters and citizens safe."
The equipment and emergency vehicle manufacturers continue to introduce more innovations for the fire service than ever before, and now it's your turn to spotlight your favorite service products.
The program is open to any organization that manufactures, designs and engineers fire/rescue products or services. Products must be available to the market as of April 15, 2026.
Manufacturers can submit new products for the Firehouse Innovations Award program that highlight their product or service by visiting the Firehouse Innovations Awards page for more information, or to start an entry. The early bird deadline is May 29, 2026, and the final nomination deadline is June 14.
The winners will be announced in the October issue of Firehouse Magazine.
