m-u-t GmbH, a leading company in the field of photonics and part of the Nynomic Group, and Rosenbauer Brandschutz GmbH, a company of the Rosenbauer Group, have gotten off to a flying start with the market launch of IGNIS3D. This highly innovative infrared camera system for early fire detection is the first result of a strategic innovation partnership between the two companies. It employs long-wave infrared video technology for contactless surface temperature measuring. IGNIS3D is marketed under the Rosenbauer brand.
As the world's first camera system of its kind, the IGNIS3D measures three-dimensional information using ingenious laser range finding, and subsequently uses this information to precisely cool down potential hazards.
