Tactik 360 Launches VR Training FireKitchen360 for Public Safety Education
In addition to formally introducing its new public education experience, FireKitchen360, Tactik 360 is increasing access to its immersive virtual reality training platform, which is intended to enhance firefighter preparation, officer development, and public safety education.
Tactik 360 was established in 2018 by active firefighters in response to a rising issue facing the fire service: sustaining operational capabilities in a scalable and economical manner without adding more personnel or training requirements.
Since January 2026, fire departments in Quebec that serve populations under 5,000 have had access to Officer 360 for as little as $175 annually because to a cooperation with the Quebec Fire Chiefs Association. This has greatly reduced barriers to advanced incident command training technology.
The company provides VR-based training systems that allow departments to use independent, reasonably priced headsets to conduct realistic, repeatable training directly in station surroundings. Tactik 360 highlights that traditional live fire training is meant to be supplemented, not replaced, by its technology.
Along with public education resources on fire extinguisher training, the significance of smoke alarms and fire safety decision making, the platform offers immersive incident command and engine operations solutions.
The company's public education objective has taken a new turn with the introduction of FireKitchen360.
Users can experience both right and wrong actions and see the results of decisions in a safe, controlled virtual environment by immersing themselves in a realistic kitchen fire scenario. The objective is to enhance learning through experience learning, which has been demonstrated to greatly increase behavioral awareness and retention.
Tactik 360 products are being used by more than 150 fire and safety organizations. In order to ensure that its tools are in line with real-world operational requirements and training priorities, the company keeps up strong collaboration with fire departments and safety groups.
Tactik 360 maintains its position as a major player in contemporary fire training and public safety education by fusing frontline fire service experience with immersive technology, assisting organizations in better preparing for crucial times when it counts most.
