Watch: Six Hospitalized at 3-Alarm NJ Fire

Hackensack firefighters battled a three-alarm fire that heavily damaged two homes and sent six people to the hospital.

A three-alarm fire sent six people to the hospital with minor injuries and caused significant damage to multiple homes in Hackensack Tuesday night.

Firefighters arrived on Franklin Street to find heavy fire in two wood-frame homes. The fire was on both floors of the homes and extended into the attics, according to a report by Patch Teaneck NJ.

It took Hackensack firefighters about an hour to bring the fire under control.

Crews from Englewood, Bogota, Teaneck and Ridgefield Park assisted with operations.
