The Shushan, N.Y., Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of a 4 Guys Fire Trucks tanker/pumper built on a Mack cab and chassis. The apparatus has a Hale 1,500-gpm pump, a 2,000-gallon tank and a Harrison 8,000-watt generator. Because of the department's remote location, in the northeast border of New York, near Vermont, the firefighters must rely on water brought to the scene. With the addition of the new tanker/pumper, the fleet of all 4 Guys apparatus will now arrive on any scene with 5,000 gallons of water on wheels. The new apparatus is a duplicate to the last truck they purchased in 2009, with the exception of the new Mack cab and chassis.
