The Plympton Fire Department has taken delivery of a Firematic B.R.A.T. brush/forestry apparatus.

The Plympton, MA, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Firematic B.R.A.T. brush/forestry apparatus built on a Ford F550 4x4 chassis with a Powerstroke 330-hp diesel engine. The chassis has a Thunderstruck HD steel front bumper with a custom equipment rack above the cab.

Suppression components include a Waterous 500-gpm PTO pump with a rear-mount pump panel and a ProPoly 400-gallon water tank and 10-gallon foam tank.

The box is a Firematic aluminum deck body with diamond plate compartments with ROM roll-up doors.

Additional features include a Whelen emergency lighting package, Hannay reels, Warn Zeon portable winch and a Rigid Radiance LED light bar.
