The Hampshire Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a Danko wildland unit that's built on a Ford 550 chassis with 40-inch tires.
The wildland unit has a Waterous 2515 LE pump powered by a 23-hp Briggs EFI pump engine with a 400-gallon water tank. Additional components include front bumper ground sweep nozzles, and a Hannay reel with booster line.
Emergency components include a Whelen Custom Freedom lightbar with an Opticomm Emitter, and a Federal EQ2B siren.
