Rigs featured this week include a pair of tankers delivered to Chile, a rescue/pumper and a 100-foot mid-mount aerial platform.

A look at some recent fire apparatus deliveries around the country.  

Danko built two pumper/tanker rigs for West Fire Johnson Controls Las Condes, in Santiago, Chile on a Freightliner 114SD four-door chassis. They are equipped with a 1,500-gpm pump, 2,600-gallon poly tank, a 530-gallon tank, a 3,000-gallon portable dump tank and a stainless swivel dump. Click here for more.

Sutphen built this SPH 100 100-foot mid-mount aerial platform for the Wadsworth, OH, Fire and EMS Department. Suppression equipment includes a 2,000-gpm Hale Qmax pump and 400-gallon water tank and the platform has a 1,250-gpm Akron 3482 Stream Master2 electric nozzle and Akron 3483 Stream Master2 manual nozzle. The Plainsboro, NJ, Fire Company took delivery of this 3,250-gallon tanker built by E-ONE on Peterbilt 6x4 tandem axle chassis. The rig is powered by a 500-hp Cummins X15 engine and includes a Hale Qmax 2,250-gpm pump, and has a stainless steel body. Click here for more

This rescue/pumper for the Cole County Fire Protection District in Jefferson City, MO, was built on the HME 1871-W chassis with an LFD-12 mid-roof large windshield. Suppression includes a 1,250-gpm Waterous CX pump, 1,000-gallon and is powered by a Cummins L9 engine. Click here for more.

Toyne built this pumper/tanker for the Moral Township Volunteer Fire Department in Fairfield, IN, on a Freightliner SD114 6x4 chassis. The bolted, stainless steel body has ROM roll-up doors, a Hale 1,250-gpm Qmax pump, a 3,000-gallon UPF poly tank and Whelen warning lighting, including an LED arrow stick. Click here for more.
