Elm Valley Joint Fire District in Ashley, OH has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire, side-control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. The unit is powered by Cummins ISL-350 engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Darley LSP 1,000-gpm PTO pump and a 3,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank. Other equipment includes two side and one rear Newton 10-inch square dump valves with 18-inch telescoping chutes, Zico electric portable tank carrier with a 3,000-gallon portable tank, all-poly construction body with R.O.M. aluminum roll-up doors. It also has RearView Safety rear view camera, Federal Signal electric  Q-siren, Whelen scene lights, Whelen traffic advisor, and a Kussmaul battery conditioner.
