Cal Fire in Madera County, CA, has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control, tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis with a Cummins L9 350EV HP Engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It is equipped with a 2,000-gallon APR polypropylene tank, and a Hale MBP 750-gallon pto pump. Other equipment includes a Zico electric portable tank rack, Whelen warning and scene lights, and a Kussmaul battery conditioner system.
