The Foraker, IN, Volunteer Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built Sutphen Tanker built on a Monarch Heavy-Duty Custom Chassis.
The rig is powered by a 450-hp Cummins L9 engine and an Allison GEN 5 EVS 3000 transmission.
The vehicle has a 2,500-gallon water tank with a 1,500-gpm Hale QMAX single-stage pump.
The body is constructed of 3/16-inch aluminum with ROM roll-up compartment door and 170-cubic feet of compartment space.
The lighting package includes a Whelen 72-inch Freedom Light Bar and a combination of Whelen and FR Spectra scene lights.
