The Contra Costa County Fire District has taken delivery of two custom-build Skeeter Brush Trucks brush/forestry units.
The Contra Costa County Fire District has taken delivery of two Skeeter Brush Trucks brush/forestry units that are each built on a Ford F550 diesel 4x4 chassis.
The chassis has a Skeeter custom bumper, AMP Research electric fold down side steps, FRC SoBrite off-road LED lights, and a Warn electric 16,000-pound winch.
The suppression systems include a Hale pump with a Kubato HPX75 diesel engine, Hannay hose reel with 150-feet of 3/4 inch hose, a 400-gallon poly water tank, and a 10-gallon foam tank.
