A look at some recent fire apparatus deliveries around the country.  

Skeeter Brush Trucks built this Type 5 wildland unit for Reeves Co. ESD 1&2 in Pecos, TX with a Rescue Side aluminum body on a Ford F550 4×4 chassis. It features a Darley 2.5 AGE 24K diesel pump, 400-gallon water tank, a Hannay hose reel and a Scotty foam system. Click here for more.

The Glen Lebanon, PA, Volunteer Fire Company placed this Pierce Saber pumper in service that is powered by a 450-hp Cummins engine and Allison 3000 EVS transmission. It has a 22-inch extended bumper with discharges and a 6-inch intake, a Waterous CSU 2000-gpm pump, 1,000 gallon tank, and ROM shutters.

Sutphen built this SPH 100 aerial platform for the Lexington County, SC, Fire Services on a Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty chassis with a 230-inch wheelbase. The front axle and suspension is rated at 23,000 lbs. and the rear at 52,000 lbs. and it carries a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm pump with a 300-gallon tank and over 280 cu ft. total compartment space. Spartan built this pumper for the Sadsburyville Volunteer Fire Company in Sadsbury Township, PA on a Spartan Metro Star EMFD chassis with a 6-inch raised roof cab. Fire suppression includes a Hale Qmax-XS-175 pump, FRC InControl 400 pressure governor, 1,000- gallon United Plastic Fabricating Poly Tank III water tank, Hypro Foam Pro 2001 system with a  25-gallon foam cell.

The Roselle, IL, Fire Department took delivery of this Toyne pumper built on a Spartan Emergency Response Gladiator ELFD chassis with a 10-inch raised roof. Fire suppression includes a Hale Qmax 1500-gpm pump and a 750-gallon United Plastic Fabricating water tank. Click here for more.
