Indian River, DE, Volunteer Fire Department, has taken delivery of a 2018 Rosenbauer Commander rescue pumper. It is built on a Rosenbauer Commander four-door climate-controlled cab with Bostrom seating for seven occupants. It's powered by a Cummins L9 425-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale DSD150 single-stage pump, a 1,000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III with a 20-gallon foam cell with a Foam Pro system and a Fire Research Corp ThrottleExcel control. It is also equipped with a Harrison 10,000-watt generator, a Will-Burt Night Scan light tower, ROM roll-up doors, Hurst extrication tools, an Eagle Air two-bottle fill station, a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren, Whelen warning and scene lights, and four Hannay reels.
