FF Lost Consciousness Behind Wheel of TX Pumper Before Crash

A firefighter behind the wheel of a Pedernales pumper during a memorial festivity lost consciousness before the apparatus crashed into a tree.
Two firefighters were in Pedernales Fire Department Engine 801 when the collision occured, according to CBSAustin.com.
The apparatus was traveling about 20 mph in the Briar Cliff annual memorial festivity Saturday morning when the collision occured. The windshield on the driver's side of the windshield was smashed.
Both firefighters were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The firefighters were released from the hospital, according to KXAN.com.
