No North Carolina firefighters were injured when a tractor-trailer collided with three pieces of apparatus early Tuesday.

The crash occurred on Interstate 85 near the Yadkin River Bridge in Rowan County, WBTV-TV reports. Miller's Ferry crews were putting out a fire on the side of the interstate at the time of the accident, according to WSOC-TV.
The tractor-trailer's driver was seriously injured in the crash, WSOC reports. No firefighters were hurt in the incident.
The crash shut down all southbound lanes of I-85 near the collision, WBTV-TV added.
