Three Mexican firefighters were injured when an apparatus toppled 20 feet off a bridge just south of the international border Friday.
The accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. in Tijuana, BorderReport.com reports. A diesel spill on the road is thought to have caused the driver of the apparatus to lose control, sending the vehicle crashing through a concrete barrier and over the side of the bridge.
Three firefighters were ejected from the apparatus. They were taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to BorderReport.com.
