Rosenbauer America Invests $25 Million to Wyoming, MN, Campus
Rosenbauer America reaffirmed its long-term commitment to boosting manufacturing capacity, improving customer service, and getting ready for further expansion in the fire apparatus industry by announcing a sizable capital investment in its Minnesota campus. Early in 2025, Rosenbauer America started strategic planning for this development by assessing client demand trends and long-term capacity requirements. In 2026, the $25 million investment is scheduled to start. It will enhance workflow, increase operational space and meet the expanding demands of fire departments throughout North America.
The improvements to the Minnesota location are intended to improve Rosenbauer America's capacity to provide top-notch equipment with increased reliability, efficiency and speed. The investment consists of:
- The construction of a brand-new, specially designed building that will house a number of vital teams, such as the final build teams, the service department, the parts department, and the training department. Service coordination and customer support skills will be significantly enhanced by this capability.
- Rosenbauer America's parts warehouse will be significantly expanded in order to improve materials management, optimize manufacturing flow, and accommodate potential increases in equipment demand.
- Increasing the number of bays in the Minnesota campus test pit from two to four is a crucial improvement that will speed up workflow during final apparatus validation and allow Rosenbauer America to move more units through final testing more effectively, ultimately supporting better delivery schedules and customer satisfaction.
“This expansion strengthens our production capabilities and positions Rosenbauer America to meet the evolving demands of fire departments with even greater precision and efficiency,” said Sven Lindenfelser, chief operations officer, Rosenbauer America. “By investing in our Minnesota campus, we are investing in the customers who rely on Rosenbauer equipment every day. These enhancements ensure we can continue delivering the high-quality apparatus and support they expect—both now and well into the future.”
All new buildings are anticipated to be operational by late 2027, with construction on the Minnesota site starting in 2026. Rosenbauer America expects job growth within its parts and service teams when the expansion goes online in order to meet the expanded capacity and customer service possibilities.
