Woodstock, VA, Volunteer Fire Company, in Shenandoah County, has taken delivery of a 2017 Smeal 105-foot rear-mount aerial built on a Spartan cab and chassis.

Woodstock, VA, Volunteer Fire Company, in Shenandoah County, has taken delivery of a 2017 Smeal 105-foot rear-mount aerial built on a Spartan cab and chassis. It's built on a four-door, six occupant, climate controlled cab and chassis powered by a Cummins ISX 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. Other equipment includes a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, LED compartment lighting, slide out tool trays and boards, two Hannay electric reels, a 10,000-watt Onan generator, and a four-bottle 6,000 psi air cascade unit. It's also equipped with Fire Research Corp. LED scene lighting, a Federal Q2B siren, Akron Brass master stream ladder pipe, and a Whelen PowerCall electronic siren,
