Butler, NJ, Fire Department Puts Tower 343 in Service

Butler, NJ, Fire Department has put TL 343 (the department's radio number) in service. It's a Pierce Enforcer 110-foot Ascendent rear-mount platform aerial. It's powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVSP transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSU 1,500-gpm pump and a single-stage 500-gallon polyproplyene tank. Other equipment includes storage cabinets in the cab, a 19-inch front bumper extension, rear-vision camera, and a TFT Hurrican monitor with a remote control at the pump panel.
