Apparatus - Truck 25 Put in Service by Provo, UT, Fire Department

The Provo, UT, Fire Department has put in service a 100-foot aerial built by Pierce on a Pierce Velocity cab and chassis. Truck 25 is powered by a Detroit Diesel 525 hp engine and an Allison transmission. It has a 1,500-gpm PUC pump and a 500-gallon water tank. It's also equipped with a Harrison 8,000-watt hydraulic generator, Whelen scene and warning lights, Hannay reels a Kussmaul battery conditioner and a Federal Signal mechanical siren.
