Kanosh, UT, Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner 108SD chassis. It is powered by a Cummins L9 400EV HP engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has 2,000 gallon UPF polypropylene tank and a Hale MBP 750-gpm pto pump. Other equipment includes three Newton stainless steel, 10-inch, square dump valves with 18-inch telescoping chutes, a Federal Signal mechanical siren, Whelen warning and scene lights, Elkhart Brass Sidewinder electric monitor, and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner.
