Train Hits Back of Moline, IL, Aerial Rig at Fire

Moline firefighters were working to control a fire in an industrial dust collector.

A train struck a Moline ladder truck while crews were battling a fire at a machine shop.

As crews were working to contain an industrial dust-collector fire, the rig was hit.

No firefighters were injured, KWQC reported.

The rig was placed back in service after it was inspected.

The investigation is continuing.
