Fire Spreads Throughout Minnesota Home
Forty firefighters responded to a house fire in St. Paul on Sept. 15.
Shortly after 4 p.m., dispatchers received multiple calls for a house fire in the 500 block of Kent Ave. N. and three engines, two ladders, one rescue squad, one medic and one district chief responded.
Engine 18 and Ladder 18 fire engulfing the 2 1/2-story home and began an attack. A RIT assignment responded. A RIT assignment, including one engine, one ladder, one rescue squad, one medic and a district chief were added to the response.
As flames burned through the walls and into the attic, firefighters were unable to access it and companies were pulled from the structure.
Two aerial master streams and a number of hoselines were used to bring the fire under control.
One firefighter was transported from the scene for minor injuries.
