CT Ambulance Workers Injured in Rollover Crash

The Rocky Hill ambulance was on its way to a medical emergency Thursday night when the accident with another vehicle happened.

An ambulance headed to a medical emergency rolled over during a crash Thursday night, police said.

Four peoplethree ambulance workers and the other vehicle’s driver—were injured, but the injuries were minor, police said. There was no patient on board.

The crash happened about 9:50 p.m. on Pratt Street at the intersection with Dividend Road, police said. Officers helped firefighters remove the ambulance workers.

The vehicles’ four occupants were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
