Apparatus - Philadelphia International Airport Gets New ARFF

The Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) serves nearly 30 million airline passengers each year. PHL recently took delivery of an Oshkosh Striker 6 x 6 ARFF vehicle. The Striker 6 x 6 features a Duetz V-8 engine, TAK-4 all-wheel independent suspension, and is able to accelerate to 50 mph in 35 seconds. The vehicle also features the Oshkosh Snozzle high reach extendable turret, a 3000-gallon water tank, and a 420-gallon foam tank.
