Guadalajara International Airport Orders ARFF from Oshkosh Airport Products
The Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) placed an order for an Oshkosh Striker 6x6 Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle from Oshkosh Airport Products.
The apparatus will continue a reliable collaboration that started more than 20 years ago by joining the airport's completely Oshkosh-equipped ARFF fleet.
A Striker 6x6 with a Snozzle High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET), a Striker 4x4, a Striker 4x4 with a Snozzle HRET, and a Striker 6x6 are all part of Guadalajara International Airport's extensive fleet, which was initially bought in 2002. The airport once more chose Oshkosh Airport Products due to the product's shown dependability, cutting-edge technology, and the robust local assistance offered by ATEPSA (Autobuses Especializados S.A. de C.V.), Oshkosh Airport Product's dealer.

Features include:
- Scania DC16, 670-hp engine for power and reliability
- Hydraulic 10-kW electric generator for powering mission-critical systems independent of external sources
- Oshkosh Eco-EFP foam system
- Two preconnected handlines, regulated for versatile firefighting operations
- Low attack bumper turret (1,250-gpm) with Hydrochem Nozzle and roof turret (1,250-gpm) for high-performance firefighting
- Dual agent hose reel and air hose reel mounted inside compartment
- Electric cord reel for extended operational capabilities
The Striker 6x6 will be delivered in December 2025, and Oshkosh Airport Products' International Field Service Representatives will oversee on-site commissioning and operator training.
