Lake Assault Boats has delivered a 34-foot fireboat to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire.

Lake Assault Boats, a leading manufacturer of custom fire and rescue boats, has delivered a 34-foot fireboat to the Pittsburgh, PA, Bureau of Fire. The fireboat will respond to emergencies and help manage fires on waterways, waterfronts, rail lines, and marinas that lie along the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers, which join together to form the Ohio River. The firefighting system features a Hale 80FC pump flowing up to 3,000 gpm that is powered by a dedicated Duramax V-8 diesel. The boat also features twin Yamaha F300 4.2L V-6 outboard motors, and is capable of a top speed greater than 40 mph.
