The Hillsborough County Fire Department has taken delivery of four new Skeeter Brush Trucks Type 5 wildland units.

Hillsborough County Fire Department has taken delivery of four new Skeeter Brush Trucks Type 5 wildland units.

The units are built on Ford F550 4x4 gas engine with four-door cabs. They have a custom-built Skeeter aluminum front bumper with Warn M15000 electric front-mount winches.

The bodies are Skeeter Rescue Side aluminum with hinged doors, and compartment LED strip lighting.

Suppression equipment includes 400-gallon poly water tanks, a Darley 2 BE 18V pump and stainless-steel manifold. They have Hannay reels with 200-foot reel capacity.

The front bumpers feature Akron Forestry monitors with electric joy stick control.
