SVI built a Type 6 brush truck for the Aurora Fire Department on a Ford F-550 chassis.

The Ford-F550 crew cab 4×4 chassis is powered by a 6.7 Power Stroke V8 Turbo-Diesel engine with a TorqShift 10-Speed Auto transmission.

The nine-foot aluminum SVI body has aluminum alloy hinge doors and is equipped with a Hannay booster hose reel, VIAIR ultra light-duty onboard air compressor kit, upper body aluminum treadplate compartments and Austin front drawer release 400-pound slide out trays. 

Fire suppression includes a Waterax BB-4 D902 50-gpm pump and 300-gallon poly water tank, along with a FoamPro 1601 Class A foam system.

The rig features a SVI Extreme Bumper with a 12,000-pound Warn Winch and a bumper-mounted GTT Opticom light bar.
