The City of Burlington Fire Department, Ontario, Canada, has taken delivery of a walk-in support unit built by SVI Trucks in Fort Collins, CO. It is built on a three-door Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis with a 24-inch raised roof, with a Cummins ISL 9 engine an Allison EVS3000 transmission. Inside the truck there are multiple screens and computer workstations that all can be routed through the AMX A/V routing system. There is a SMART Board 8055i interactive flat panel using a Samsung 55-inch LCD which can bring up any of the video feeds including the Orion vehicle-mounted weather station and an Onan Protec 25,000-watt pto generator.
