Apparatus - Au Sable Forks, N.Y., Puts Rescue 116 in Service
The Au Sable Forks Fire Department recently took delivery of a KME 2015 medium-duty walk-around rescue truck that was used by a local KME dealers to highlight the features of their products.
The Au Sable Forks apparatus committee reviewed the features that were already included in the truck and added shelving and other needed items. The department added Hurst power tools in the rear compartment on pull out shelves with an electric Hurst SIMO pump, two reels with the tools preconnected.
The apparatus is also equipped with a winch receiver on all four corners, a warn 9,000-pound winch, LED warning lights, Robinson roll-up compartment doors, custom designed shelving and tool mounting, Akron pre-wired electric reels, and a Tempest light tower with four 1,500-watt Fire Research lights.
