The West Haverstraw Volunteer Hose Company #2 has taken delivery of a custom-built KME walk-in heavy rescue truck.
The rescue is built on a KME SSX Severe Service chassis that is powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine with an Allison EVS 3000 transmission.
The walk-in rescue body is built with 3/16” aluminum with seating for eight.
Auxiliary power is provided by an Onan 20,000-watt Protec generator.
