The Park Forest, IL, Fire Department has taken delivery of a pumper built by Alexis Fire Equipment Co. built on a Spartan Gladiator MFD cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire it has a Darley PSM 1,500 gpm pump and a 500-gallon polypropylene tank with a 25-gallon foam cell. It's also equipped with a FoamPro 2001 single-stage foam system, a 6,000-psi four-cylinder cascade system, Harris MAS 10,000-watt hydraulic generator, a Will-Burt NightScan light tower with four Whelen 150-watt LED lights and Whelen warning lights.
