Burlington, NJ, Township Fire Company No. 1 has put in service a 2017 Pierce Impel custom pumper. It's built on a four-door, six occupant climate controlled cab and chassis with a raised roof and PS6 seats. It's powered by a Cummins 450 hp ISL 9 diesel engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a 2,000-gpm Waterous CSU, single-stage pump, and a 750-gallon UPF Poly III tank with a 30-gallon foam tank. it also has a Husky 12 foam system and a Hercules CAF system. It's also equipped with Gortite shutters, a Trident air prime system, Kussmaul auto-eject, LED compartment lighting, slide-out-tool trays, a TFT Crossfire deck gun, Whelen scene lights, A Federal Signal Q2B mechanical and E2 electronic siren.
