The Rochelle Park, NJ, Fire Department has put in service Engine 1, a 2018 KME Predator top-mount pumper. The apparatus is built on a cab and chassis with seating for eight occupants and powered by a Cummins ISX 12 500-hp engine and an Allison transmission. to fight fire, it has a Waterous CMU C20D model 1,500-gpm pump and a 750-gallon water tank with a 75-gallon foam cell and a CAF system. It features a low hose bed with two rear discharge gates with pre-connected hose and both gates have foam flow capabilities. A booster reel is located under the rear hose bed and the two speed lays are capable of flow foam as well. It also has a hydraulic ladder rack, wheel well compartment, a Stang deck gun and it has LED warning and compartment lighting.
