The Swanville, MN, Vol. Fire Department has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire top control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. It is powered by a Cummins L9 350-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a 1,250-gpm Hale QFlo split-shaft pump and a 1,250-gallon APR polypropylene tank. It also features a rear-view camera, six Whelen scene lights, an Elkhart Brass Vulcan deck gun, A Foam Logix foam system with a 10-gallon foam cell, and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner system with an auto eject.
