Underwood, MN, Fire & Rescue has received a tanker-pumper built by Midwest Fire on a Freightliner M2-106 cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins L9 350-hp engine and an Allison transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale RSD 1,250-gpm PTO pump, APR polypropylene 2,000-gallon tank, and a Newton 10-inch square dump valve with a 36-inch telescoping chutes and a stainless steel "tip-down" portable tank carrier and a 2,100-gallon portable tank.  Other features includes a RearView Safety rear view camera, six Whelen scene lights and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner with auto eject.
