The Susquehanna Hose Company, in Havre de Grace, MD, has taken delivery of a 2017 E-ONE pumper with a 1,900-gallon water tank. It's built on an E-ONE Cyclone cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins 500-hp ISX-12 engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMax 150-23S, 1,500-gpm single-stage pump and a 1,900-gallon UPF Poly Tank III with a 30-gallon Class A foam tank and a 120-gallon Class B foam tank. It also has a FoamPro system, a Fire Research Pump Boss control, H.O. Bostrom firefighter seats, Whelen Pioneer LED scene lights, a Kussmaul auto-eject system, Hurst extrication tools, a TFT Crossfire monitor, and a Federal Q2B mechanical siren. The $640,000 apparatus was sold through Patriot Fire of Grasonville, MD.
