Collings Lakes Volunteer Fire Company, Buena Vista Township, NJ, recently took delivery of a 2018 KME Predator Panther pumper. It is powered by a Cummins L9 425-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. It has a raised roof and full-height rear doors with Bostrom seats. To fight fire it has a Hale QMAX200-21X single-stage pump, with top-mounted controls, a Pump Boss pressure governor, and a 1,000 gallon polypropylene water tank. Other features include a Tank Vision Pro, Akron Apollo deck gun, top-mount booster hose reel, Hannay electric reel, FRC LED scene lights, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, ROM shutters, Hurst extrication tools mounted in the front bumper, swing out tool board, Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren, swing down ladder arm, and a pull out oil dry hopper.
