The Needham Community Fire Department has taken delivery of a Spencer Fire Trucks pumper.

The pumper is built on a Spartan Metrostar MFD chassis with seating for five, and is powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine. The front bumper has a storage compartment for extrication tools.

Fire suppression components include a Hale QMAX 1,500-gpm pump with a 1,000-gallon water tank, a FoamPro foam system with a 20-gallon foam cell, and a TFT Extend-A-Gun monitor system.

Compartments have hinged doors with Slide-Master toolboards and roll-out trays.

Lighting products include Whelen warning lights, Whelen scene lights and a Command Light LED light tower.
