Pierce Manufacturing Services High Flow Industrial Pumper in South Korea

Pierce Manufacturing Inc. stated that SK Group in South Korea has ordered a Pierce High Flow Industrial Pumper from Pierce dealer MS Trade Company. The device will mark a major turning point for Pierce's worldwide industrial firefighting solutions as it will be the first Pierce High Flow Industrial Pumper in use outside of the United States.

The sale highlights SK Group's continued dedication to implementing cutting-edge emergency response systems to safeguard some of the biggest and most intricate refinery operations in the world. The second-largest company in South Korea and a global leader in energy, semiconductors, and technological innovation, SK Group has its headquarters in Seoul. With a daily capacity of about 840,000 barrels, its refinery activities are among the biggest in the world.

The Pierce High Flow Industrial Pumper was designed for flow capacity and operating diversity to address the particular difficulties of SK Group's facilities, such as small roads and access points that restrict the placement of fire apparatus. Years of assessment and direct interaction between Pierce, MS Trade Company, and the safety staff of SK Group molded the truck's performance and configuration.

• 6-inch front inlet with 4-inch plumbing, and 6-inch rear inlet with 5-inch plumbing for flexible positioning around narrow refinery roads
