Delivery: Rye Brook, NY, Quint

The Village of Rye Brook, NY, Fire Department took delivery of a 2022 Spartan Gladiator 100-foot Smart Reach quint. The rig is powered by a 505-hp Cummins X-15 engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a 2,000-gallon Waterous CSU C20 single-stage pump, a 480-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank and a 20-gallon foam cell. It also has a Trident air primer, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, LED compartment lighting, Whelen LED warning lights, Harrison 10kW generator and a Federal Q2B mechanical siren.
