The Freeburg, IL, Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a new custom dryside tanker from Sutphen mounted on a heavy-duty Monarch chassis with a 73" cab and 10" raised roof.
This rig features a 500-hp Cummins X12 engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission with a 2,500-gallon water tank and a 1,500-gpm Hale QMAX single-stage pump.
