GA Firefighters Unscathed as Pickup Smashes into Engine
It was a close call for Coweta County firefighters last Thursday morning when a pickup truck smashed into the rear of their engine during an accident response on the I-85 freeway. The rescuers working the scene were saved only by the way they had parked the apparatus.
Police said the accident could have been avoided if the pickup had moved over a lane as required by Georgia law, but no charges have yet been filed.
