Within 24 hours, two Concord fire trucks were hit by vehicles while working at scenes on an interstate.

No firefighters were injured in either incident on I-85, Queen City News reported.

The driver of a tractor-trailer involved in the second crash did not stay at the scene.

The incidents are the third and fourth times in the past year that a Concord rig was struck by a vehicle while protecting a scene.
