The deputy chief of Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company has been reinstated.
The move to allow Alan Barnes to resume his duties in Carroll County came after charges against him in connection with a Montgomery County baseball field flooding were dropped, WBFF reported.
Barnes was suspended when he and Capt. Christopher Reilly were charged with malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct after the July incident in Silver Spring.
Last week, Reilly was acquitted of the charges by a District Court judge.
An internal investigation in Montgomery County continues.
