In light of the tragic death of Girard Police Officer Justin Leo, the fire chief in Vienna Township -- where Leo once worked -- said he didn't want it to happen again and helped raise $2,600 to buy Vienna police four new safety vests.

"They work with us. We work with them. They show up on our squad calls, we show up for them when they want us. We kind of got each other's back. We just wanted to help them out more as much as we could," Vienna Fire Chief Richard Brannon said.
