Humboldt volunteer firefighter Jeffery Feaster has resigned after police charged him with driving drunk in a fire department apparatus June 6.

Officers say Feaster was responding to a 911 call when police on scene said he smelled like alcohol and was slurring his speech, and his blood alcohol content was found to be twice the legal limit.
