The manager of a Phoenix gentlemen's club is going on trial after being accused of trying to cover up the beating death of a firefighter in 2017.

Timothy Piegari allegedly disconnected the surveillance system outside Centerfolds Cabaret on Jan. 21, 2017, while a bouncer at the club fatally beat 37-year-old Daisy Mountain firefighter Luke Jones following a confrontation inside.

The bouncer, Brandon Draper, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in May after pleading guilty to second-degree murder charges.
